So, let's 'plump out' the details just a
little from the skinny version Are you someone who accepts that we human beings have a great amount of activity going on in the mind that we can call "subconscious"? A more difficult question might be whether you're someone who accepts that whatever is unconscious is UN-conscious? - that is, inaccessible by our conscious ego-centric minds. Can you accept that as early-life infants (babies), there was a vast amount of reaction learnings that took place as we needed to make our way in adapting to life? Can you see that before we had the ability to form our thoughts into words (cognitive constructs), we only had the ability to 'learn' those adaptations in a non-word fashion? - that is, at affect or emotional level? Those emotional and feeling learnings (encodings) took place throughout a part of our early infancy that populated a period of several months (10 to 20 months) prior to what science calls the 'verbal emergent stage' when we started to newly construct stories about ourselves using words. This period of learning and habit-forming is called the PREVERBAL STAGE. Neuroscience has now shown us that not only did this constitute a large part of our formative selves that goes to building emotional characteristics, but following that verbal emergent stage, those learnings carry through into adolescence and adulthood by a process called perseveration. This means that to a greater or more subtle extent, it is highly likely that we adults are still continually driven by subconscious reactions to our environment that are PREVERBAL and cannot be analyzed in ways that modern 'talk psychotherapy' assumes is acceptable.
Af-x not only respects this scientific fact, but particularizes your non-verbal subconscious drivers in a way that leads to inner resolution and re-learning of the preverbal reactive encodings.
